I think it's funny how this alien looks just like the aliens we've seen in movies. Really, what are the odds that an alien would look just like we imagined it would?

To play devil's (alien's?) advocate, the ones in the movies (the "Greys", not the ID4/Alien types) look like that because that's the description of the majority of "sightings" and "encounters". It isn't like some movie director created the concept of the "Greys" and all the "encounters" with aliens from then on matched that description.

Hmm, kind of funny I justed started reading Little Green Men by Christopher Buckley a few days ago. It's a pretty hilarious book about how a super secret government organization pretends to abduct people and perform experiments on them to keep interest in UFO's alive so people won't object to spending billions of dollars on NASA. Needless to say I'm pretty skeptical, I don't doubt they can prove the video is real but the head could be some little doll he picked up at Wal Mart for 10 bucks and got his buddy to hold it in front of the window. And who the hell still has one of those old school black and white cameras lying around their living room so as soon as they see an alien walking around they can record it. I don't understand how this is news.

It's a lack of imagination at work;to think that the already long odds of intelligent alien life visiting earth shows up in a very human-like form is actually quite pathetic.The assumption that intelligent life must have two arms, two legs, forward facing eyes,etc. is a poor one.It is at least as likely that alien life may not even be recognizable as such by humans.
