    Coach Mulkey

Did anybody watch the thing today on Sportscenter on the Summerville Boys basketball team? I just watched it for the 2nd time today, what a tragedy. I'll admit I had to fight back tears even watching it the 2nd time.

I saw it. I was fighting back tears as well. I wish we could know for sure if that final shot should have counting or not.

too me it looked like the light was red, if not, I don't think the clock started as soon as they got the rebound

Watched it and when ESPN does stories like this, its about the only thing they do right, imo. In terms of the shot counting, I doubt it, if you look at the replay as the ball is showin just after leaving his hands, the red light on the backboard is already lit up, so it would have to be really, really close if it did count. Either way, it was a nice story, and Im glad I heard about it.

I watched it and felt the same. It really choked me up. Nice ending for an otherwise tragic story.

I saw it while working out. Very nice story.

I think the story next week is about a kid in Pittsburgh who has terminal cancer. There was a thread in the MLB forums about it. Very inspirational kid.
