          tough to list just five

Dave Matthews Band - "Crash" (If I could only choose one album, this would probably be it)

Cross Canadian Ragweed - "Live: Back To Tulsa" (definitely my favorite band right now. This is their newest live album)

Pat Green - "Live @ Billy Bob's" (old school Green, his new stuff sucks imo)

Led Zeppelin - "Mothership" (Best rock and roll band of all time)

U2 - either "Rattle and Hum" or "The Joshua Tree" (u2's best albums imo)

Re: Five Albums That Best Sum Up Your Taste In Music

CCR - Green River: touches on the oldies rock along with classic rock, rockabilly/alt. country, soul, R&B, etc plus Fogerty's vocals are the best representation of blue-collared rock n roll.

Soundgarden - Superunknown: though my place-holder for favorite Soundgarden album firmly remains as Badmotorfinger, I think Superunknown sums up my tastes a little better. Hard rock ala Sabbath AND Zeppelin, awesome vocals, dark atmosphere, and Kim Thayil.

Deltron 3030 - Deltron 3030: it was between this and Black Star to help sum up my hip hop tastes, but I feel like Deltron 3030 does it a little better. For me, Deltron does a great job of relating back to old school hip-hop while being progressive. For me, both are important.

Frank Sinatra - Songs for Swingin' Lovers!: this album sums up a couple things for me. For one, when pop music is hitting on all cylinders, its tough to match. The other sums up what I like to call "pimp" music. You know, basically any legendary artist that can be referred by just one name. Frankie. Prince. Marvin. Hank. Waylon. Etc.

Brendan Benson - One Mississippi/Wellfed Boy: just to cover the broad spectrum of awesome pop music, I figured I'd throw in some Brendan Benson who's a Beatles/The Who kind of man, not to mention how great artists can be even if they don't play on the radio.
