Evander Holyfield And Ed McMahon Face Foreclosures

Despite Holyfield's millions, that what nine kids will do to you.
    HOLYFIELD
McMahon got a $7.2 million dollar "toxic mold" settlement in 2001 but is still in trouble. What was Johnny paying him?

I cut McMahon some slack but Holyfield has some issues with back taxes and such as well I believe so he's clearly a little more liable for his situation.

Holyfields house isn't up for auction anymore. He took care of it.

McMahon caused his own problems. He got 7.2 million in 2001, his mortgage is only 4.8 million, he could have easily paid off the mortgage, fixed the damage, and had 1+ million to live off without any major expenses.

Can't feel sorry for anyone who has pissed away millions of dollars and then can't pay their bills.

Holyfield could have purchased a box of condoms for $10 and saved millions of dollars.
OR, he could have actually practiced what he preached and lived a Christian lifestyle by not screwing around on his wives or abstaining from premarital sex.

Holyfield is getting what he deserves. I just feel bad for his kids not getting what's coming to them.

Yeah, he skated around that question on Larry King, saying that he had nine lawyers, the house had to be fixed, he had to live somewhere else. His wife admitted that they were careless with their finances, saying "you want to take care of your friends and family" (hinting that they probably overdid it).

yeah. when I first heard about Holyfield's alley cat lifestyle I was surprised because I heard he was such a devout Christian.

At least with McMahon it wasn't like he was living TOO over his head. I mean he did have to pay for that mold problem a few years ago.

Kudos to Jay Leno for trying to help Ed though.

I didn't hear anything concrete but apparently he's trying to get other celebs to help him with paying off McMahon's debts.

I haved used the Evander Holyfield situation as a warning. I am only planning on having six or seven kids with women other that a wife. I think nine is way too many.

I was kind of hoping they would move in together and share an apartment or someting. Would make a good reality show/sit com.

yeah, McMahon was talking about that on the news. How sad. Many Americans are going through the same thing, yet a celebrity gets to talk about getting contributions on news shows.

If I was Ed I'd keep both eyes on my wife.

Donald Trump just bought Ed McMahon's home to avoid the foreclosure (and get a good deal?). Trump will let Mcmahon continue to live there under some lease arrangement.
