I am going crazy! I need some help.
Last saturday, I contracted a spyware/virus called Cyberlog-X. I use Spysweeper on my computer. When I do a scan of my computer, it catches and says it's removed. However, when I reboot my computer, I still get the pop-up that my computer is infected.
I went through this a couple of month's ago with the Trojan32 virus, but my spysweeper got rid of that one.
My friend thinks there is a file in my registry, so when I reboot my computer, it loads the spyware all over again. I can't log on and check my email because it boots me off the internet. When I do a search for free spyware removal, it boots me off right as I am about to load a program that will get rid of the spyware.
I don't want to have to pay for another spyware protection program. I just spent 40 bucks to renew spysweeper in March.
Can anyone help? Is there a program I can download that will scan my hardrive and get rid of this cyberlog-x virus? This program won't even let me run the Spybot program on my desktop. Everytime I click on it, nothing happens, even when I run it in safe mode.
