1. LOTR- In a class of its own. May never be challenged.
2. Bourne- Vaulted to this spot by the excellence of Ultimatum
3. Alien- Unlike most people, I think Alien 3 is a very good movie
4. Godfather- An impossible task for III after a 16 year interim
5. Die Hard- Sequels suffer slightly because other villains << Hans<hans>
6. Original Star Wars- Would be number 2 without Jedi's collapse
7. Terminator- T3 couldn't close the deal
8. X-Men- X3 an even bigger tank than Jedi.
9. Lethal Weapon--Jet Li yes, Chris Rock no
10. Indy- May get bump for MI after I see I4.</hans>Jordan Mychal Lemos

As much as I loved the Bourne movies and Matrix Trilogy, the sheer quality of LOTR makes it #1 for me:

- Blade - Wesley as a vampire
- Austin Powers - That's just groovy baby!
- Die Hard - John McClain Enough said!

I enjoyed both Star Wars trilogies, but for different reasons. 1-3 are beautifully made and have incredible action sequences, but the 4-6 have a much better story line to me.
I also like the Borne series.
Obviously, you would need to rank the Godfather series up there too.Comment
