I probably wouldn't expect anything until late this year or even Q1 09.

I went with Sirius because my Gamecocks are currently on Sirius. XM has MLB but I'm not a baseball fan. NFL and the majority of the SEC teams being on Sirius made it a no brainer for me. I have the Starmate 4 so the pause, rewind and FF is nice. And the game alerts is pretty sweet (any score changes from your selected favorite teams you get notified). Also the ability to use it in the car or take it out and use on my home theater setup is nice.

If your car audio deck has a front Auxillary input you can get a direct connection and not use the crappy FM antenna. It took me about 20 minutes to run the Sirius satellite antenna from my car roof to the audio deck. And just use the cigarette lighter for power. Saved myself about $125 in installation fees.

Huh? XM has the SEC, they got it last year for football and basketball. South Carolina joins XM this year and Florida joining next to make every team then only on XM. Just an FYI. Once the merger goes through though, it doesn't matter.

Sirius still has Bama, Auburn, Vandy and Florida (til next year).
