I'll agree on the overrated. I really don't care one way or the other about 50, he's had some decent songs, but his new song sounds just like all his others.

I would have to disagree about 50 doing any style any flow. 50 is not a guy who changes it up if you ask me. It all sounds the same. "Drop it low, bring it back up the pole. Pop some cris, do it like this. Make it hit the floor, gimme some more. Work your hips, then do some dips......Blah, blah blah blah blah.."

        Young Buck's response to 50.

EDIT: PLEASE don't take this beef seriously. 50 Cent has a record coming out soon lol.

          LMAO!!

I could actually hear 50 saying that as I read it.

I think 50 is overrated by the mainstream but underrated by supposed hip hop purists. GRODT was a damn good album, and though he fell hard after that, he has put out some great songs. 50 is by no means a Soulja Boy... far from it.

BTW, the G-Unit thing was a fad which is slowly dying (if not dead). 50 used his pull with Em and Dre, capitalized on his getting shot nine times, struck while the iron was hot and parlayed his connections into a clothing line, feature film, platinum albums, vitamin water deal (he's set for life on that alone), etc.. One thing nobody can knock 50 about is his mind for business.

"Check my logic, smokers don't like seeds in their weed, sh*t
Send me them seeds, I'll grow 'em what they need"

"I took quarter water sold it in bottles for 2 bucks
And Coca-Cola came and bought it for billions, what the f*ck?"

"Hustler's Ambition" and "I Get Money", two songs that personify 50. He was always in the game for cash first, the love/art second.

Nice verses by Buck on that one. I'm still not sold on him being too successful after this, but that was tight. I didn't like the chorus though. 50 is kinda looking bad if all this is true. What kind of dude tapes conversations with his so called friends and holds onto them just in case the friend gets out of line one day?

He is the only person other than the Beatles and still the only solo artist the have 3 songs in the billboard top 5 at the same time.

2 time billboard artist of the year
2 time billboard album of the year
2 time billboard rap artist of the year

2003 World Music Artist of the year
                  ....countless others

pretty good for someone who didnt even have an album out before 2003 and whos first national mixtape came out in 2002

manages the entire g-unit empire which is a multi million dollar company. Made over $100 million last year, no matter what other "rappers" say hes still the same person and mindset through it all; he had to do everything by himself with no help unlike all these other "mainstream" artist they somehow got major help from someone

                  Overrated still?

any style any flow 50 can do it the better than anyone out

about this young buck thing hopefully that phone call was after that concert video for one thing but other than that hes being smart about it dont bite the hand that feeds you, 50 made buck what he is look at the game hes a joke without 50; the world is lonely and 50 appreciates loyalty, game now is thinking suicide and having trouble staying relevant

I respect your opinion and post and mean no disrespect from what I'm saying.....BUT....Game Murdered G-Unit with what mixtapes? LOL

I hope you're not talking about "You Know What It Is" Vol.3 and 4 and the Stop Snitchin Stop Lyin mixtapes because other than the 100,200,300 Bars, he ain't do a damn thing to em lol

I know most of his verbal attacks were at 50,Yayo, and Banks which was pretty much who his main beef was with.(He said something about Buck on the 300 Bars track and then Buck came back with the "Mr Potato Head" track but their beef ain't really go much like how Game's beef with the other G-Unit members did.)

But as much as I dislike Game, I still catch myself listening to a few of his tracks, especially his freestyles because Game does do his thing on a few of his tracks. Hell, I think in terms of lyrical ability, he's underrated.

The thing Game murdered was his career.

He went from top 5 singles over Dre beats to not selling platinum and jumping on the Ay Bay Bay remix.

He's also a bottom 3 poster with vick and asianflow.

ha ok what makes you a better poster than me, in my book your the bottom poster now, my opinion is just as good as yours so whos the troll

50 is the best as doing any style or any flow just because he doesnt showcase it on his albums doesnt mean he cant do it, you actually go and listen to some of his unreleased and mixtape ****, can do hard songs, can sing better hooks than anyone, can be seductive towards the ladies, can air out beefs against enemies, can showcase loyalty towards the family, can go fast slow with the beat against the beat, and I do believe he is more versatile that 99% of the "rappers" out there

i didnt say that album sales = talent but there is a huge correlation, other than his latest album all the studio songs have the same theme and style because he knows thats what he can sell. but u can look at his older **** and the underground tapes / songs (which with his number of followers not really considered underground) are completely different sounding than what he puts out on his albums and but he still treats them like a studio release, unlike some rappers (lil wayne) who put out freestyles of 100+ bars of just random rambling and some rhyming. completely different mindsets of mixtape releases
