I made this thread w\ two agendas in mind....

    1) to discuss IMO one of the funniest shows ever created...
    2) does anybody remember the Micheal Jackson "In the closet" parody from this show? it was hilarious but I cant find it anywhere.

Jim Carey as Snow doing a parody of Informer (Imposter) IMO is one of the funniest parodies ever created.

Oh man I could go on for days about that show. Men on Film (when Damon Waynes hit his head and went straight), Anton, Jamie Fox and his dead dog, Jim Carey as the guy doing stupid stuff behind the newsreporter, Fire Marshall Bill, Homey the Clown, LaWanda, Tommy Davidson pitching stupid inventions, Hey Mon, "Good lord that's a lot of money!"...aw man that show was great.

I was sooo pissed when it ended. It was out of nowhere.

Jim Carrey doin Vanilla Ice was one of my favorites too!

I know it's shown on BET now, but I never figured out what time it's on. I just remember flipping through the channels and it would be on really late. Anyone know the schedule?

One of the funniest skits on the show.

Great show. I picked up a couple of seasons from amazon.com when they threw them on sale for $15. Anyone remember the Super Bowl special?

One of the few shows ever on TV that had me laughing from start to finish. Sadly, though, a show like it never will appear again since race was the basis of nearly all the skits. America is much too politically correct to even risk offending anyone now.

                        Re: In Living Color

One of the greatest comedy sketch shows of all time. It was probably one of the most controversial as well. It's a good thing the show ended when it did though as I could see it suffering the same fate that SNL suffered through. The first 5 years of SNL were cutting edge, controversial (for the time) and just LOL funny while at the same time creating new comedy stars. After that though the show started to lose its edge and the majority of the original cast left.

Actually that was starting to happen to IN LIVING COLOR as by the time the show went off the air several of the biggest names were already gone.

Still, it was just a great great show that would never make it on the air today because of its content.

Comedian Paul Mooney aka "Negrodamus" from Chappelle's Show was a writer for In Living Color. His main skit was "Homey the Clown".

One of the best shows ever... I used to watch when younger and I loved it.

The Michael Jackson skit, the one by Tommy Davidson? There were a few one for the Song Black or White and one for (I forgot the name but the one where he was in the alley) I think it was Tommy Davidson.

You ain't never lied man. Yesterday for some reason, the Paula Abdul parody "Promise of a Thin Me" popped in my head and I came across that "Imposter" vid while searching youtube. Had me crack the hell up. Jim Carey is a funny *** dude.
