Hey guys,
Today I had a power outtage, and my PC is connected to a surge protector. After the outtage, I went to boot my PC, and it boots through the Dell screen, and it boots through the Windows XP screen, but right after that the screen goes black and the monitor changes its power light from green to orange as if no PC is connected to the monitor or the PC is off. Meanwhile, the light on the CPU is still on and the computer is making its usual noises.
I can navigate though setup screens during the boot menu but as soon as it goes to load the OS the monitor is acting as if no PC is connected. Its not the monitor, seeing as how it can display the boot screens, and I also connected it to my TV, and it wont work.
What do you think happened and what can I do?
