It was unique. Not laugh out loud funny as you might think from watching the trailer. Could have been better.....I'm just not sure how. lol. It was that quirky.

I would have to politely disagree. The audience last night and myself were laughing out loud the majority of the film. Its not a perfect film in the sense because it so quirky ala Big Lebowski, but as you said, I don't see how it could be improved upon. The cast was perfect and the plot was funny and surprisingly straight-forward.

        I saw it tonight.

        Brad Pitt made this movie.

And yes, the final scene had the entire audience laughing their arses off.

        Classic Coen Brothers flick.

The only funny parts to me were with Pitt and the last scene. I just didn't find much else entertaining.

Pretty funny. Kind of slow in the beginning, but the last scene capped it off well... though it could have been a longer movie as well I suppose.

I agree I saw this yesterday afternoon and I'm glad I only paid matinee price.

I have to give John Malkovich, J.K. Simmons, and Frances Mcdormand major credit as they were awesome though. George Clooney was alright. Brad Pitt...well I don't think I will go there.

Definitely disappointed with the film though, I had way higher expectations going in.

                Great movie.

And Brad Pitt was great. He doesn't get nearly enough respect. People seem to look at him like he's just some pretty boy who got lucky, but he's a freaking great actor who has been in some absolutely classic movies.

Floyd in "True Romance" was one of his better roles also

Mickey and Tyler are easily my two favorite Pitt roles. Haven't seen this one, or True Romance, yet, though.

His role in True Romance is too small to really put it up with Mickey and Tyler - though is great to watch.

His role in Burn After Reading is hilarious - it definitely competes with Mickey and Tyler, IMO.

I gotta find a way to watch this one, especially if Pitt's role in it is up there with Mickey/Tyler.
