Good movie, no idea what it was about to be honest. Still it entertained me.I don't like the Yankees, I like the Red Sox, I don't like the Lakers, I like the Celtics, I hate the Canadiens and I love the Bruins. Soccer is the best sport on Earth, but most Americans are too ignorant to realize it. I am American.

Re: Burn After Reading
I think his best role was the serial killer in Kalifornia, it's about as far from pretty boy as one could get and he was truly scary in that movie, it was an Oscar worthy performance. It was even more impressive because it was early in his career where he was still just considered a pretty boy and he still hadn't fully developed his acting chops yet. What a criminally underrated movie, I'm chomping at the bit to get this on Bluray.Comment

Re: Burn After Reading
Pitt was really good in The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, as well. I love the True Romance reference... it was hilarious to see him in that role. Mickey & Durden are easily his two most memorable roles, and I love both Snatch. and Fight Club. Scagnetti -- You're spot on about Pitt being great in Kalifornia, too. That bathroom/rest stop scene is ****ing intense!
My sister picked me up Burn After Reading for Christmas, and I'm excited as hell to watch it right after I unwrap it.Comment

Re: Burn After Reading
He was also memorable in 12 Monkeys and was overshadowed in Seven because of Freeman. He is really underrated because he has had some steller performances and his looks get in the way of being considered one of today's great actors. He's really at home playing characters that are deeply warped in some way. He's ordinary when he plays more "normal' characters.Pitt was really good in The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford, as well. Back to topic I saw this movie tonite and thought Clooney and Pitt were good in it but the movie kinda went nowhere although it did have some good laughs. Seems like this was made as a mindless romp by the Coen Brothers just for kicks as it didn't really seem to go anywhere with the plot and was too similar to Fargo without the snow.Comment

I think the Coen's go in "waves". Fargo, then The Big Lebowski... No Country for Old Men, then Burn After Reading. I think they make a serious movie, only to be followed up with something a little goofier.
PS - I LOVED 12 Monkeys, as well. Pitt was a ****ing headcase, lol.Comment
