I watched 5 minutes of it and turned it off. I guess i'll watch the west coast feed if there are more favorable comments on it.Member of the Official OS Bills Backers Club

The "game" right now is stupid. I guess it's because it's females and we all know they can't do anything worthwhile physically. Well that is on a channel where minors can be exposed to it.Comment

Re: I Survived A Japanese Gameshow!
What channel is it on? I've never heard of this show.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Re: I Survived A Japanese Gameshow!
It was on one of the big networks...
Basically it's a reality show...with eliminations
They are judged on their performances in Japanese game shows and then their is a "duel" to eliminate someone.
It's the basic formula the networks are capitalizing off.Comment

Is this the American MXC? Haven't seen it, but I think I saw a preview for it the other day. If so, I don't think I'll be wasting my time with it.Through music, you can live forever...TEAMS: San Diego Chargers, San Diego Padres, Notre Dame Fighting IrishComment

Whatever happened to game shows for a simple prize?
Now they're all for a lump sum of money after eliminations.Comment

Re: I Survived A Japanese Gameshow!
watched a few minutes of it and thought it was as corny as the new American Gladiators on NBC.
couldn't have been worse IMO. Not funny at all. Obviously edited like crazy to include so much pointless and "forced" interview soundbites. The "contestants" seemed more like bad actors than normal people. Just terrible.Comment

Re: I Survived A Japanese Gameshow!
I agree, this show is terrible and I doubt its going to stick around for long once people see it and realize its that bad. I was all for it when I saw the previews but apparently I went in with the stupid concept that it was going to be a weekly gameshow based off of Japanese game shows but in the end its nothing more then a glorified reality program with a sprinkle of game shows thrown in in hopes of pulling in an additional crowd.Comment

Re: I Survived A Japanese Gameshow!
I would rather have it be a regular Japanese-style game show but I definitely liked this as well. Man, does Japan look awesome or what?! This show looked absolutely stunning in HD, too.
I will definitely watch this and Wipeout next week.Comment

Re: I Survived A Japanese Gameshow!
Just because its a reality gameshow doesnt necessarily mean its going to stick around because of it, wasnt there some reality show looking for a country singer that lasted less then 10 episodes? The show does have the advantage that expectations are probably rather low and there is nothing else on television right now to squash it.Comment
