This is the most overblown thing I have ever seen. This would have never been an issue if Soulja Boy didn't respond with that video. I think Ice-T was a jackass for saying what he said but dude has an opinion just like everyone else. The majority of this board will say that Soulja Boy is wack. Why is Ice-T saying the same thing any different?

If I'm a 50 year old millionaire, I might be willing to say I don't enjoy Soulja Boy's music if asked. I wouldn't however, go the extra step of telling the kid to eat a dick and blaming him with the destruction of an entire genre/culture.

Yeah that's why Spider Loc came back at him, saying stop apologizin and you don't have the whole West Coast with you on this.

Ice T.....dude just really need to sit down somewhere and enjoy all that "cake". I mean, it ain't like he was ever a good rapper. True enough, he hustled his way to some hits but even in his hey day he wasn't some lyrical genius lol. I mean he did his thing, but besides Pusher, I was like later for the dude and even then it was mainly because we were trying to rap over the beat. Now he trying to come at a kid and gets mad when the kid defends himself? He is really making himself look foolish, at least Soulja Boy has the excuse that he is still a kid. Ice-T is damn near 50 if not older.

I mean, I'd feel the same way if somebody like Rakim just came out of the fog with "Eat a dick Soulja Boy" for no reason, but damn, at least Rakim was nice on the mic. You can't tell me Ice T was nice.

I am no Soulja Boy fan either or anything, but all the hate is just silly. The little brother just trying to make music that he enjoys and all these people hating on him, basically for dancing lol. It's a sin to dance and have fun these days apparently. I guess everybody should only rap about drugs, violence and mean mug the camera in their videos. Live and let live.

But I hate when rappers like Spider Loc try and speak for a whole coast....the only reason I know who Spider Loc is, is b\c he wa son Madden 06 or something....and nobody riding w\ you maaaaan!

Yeah I know exactly what you mean. Spider Loc is one of them dudes that is trying to break in, so obviously he is just taking this opportunity to get his name out there. I like his work though.

I am sitting here watching this BET red carpet thing, and Soulja Boy needs to tell his "boy" to stop talking ish lol. Especially that they out in L.A. right now. That's not a good look, talking noise when you away from home, and in your supposed "enemy's" neck of the woods.

This is the first i've heard of this. I'm not going to read the entire thread, but i did manage to watch the video. I have to say their both idiots. However Ice-T is a grown man, there was no reason at all to come out and call Soulja Boy out like that, specially when hes not even half your age.

On the other hand, Soulja-Boy should of just ignored it. The whole video (posted on the first page) was a waste. Yes he did make some sense at the end of the video. All he needed to say was what he said at the end. He made it and should be congratulated, not frowned upon because he was able to make it out of the ghetto. For that i can understand, but his whole idea of trying to diss Ice-T as well was up surd.

However i see Ice-T being more at fault here. Soulja- Boy is only 17. Hes young and famous. He's entitled to be a d*ckhead at this point of his life, but Ice-T is a grown man

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, and everyone has their own taste in music. I am not a big fan of alot of the music that is out today, but that is not to say people all over don't care for one genre or the next. Personally, I think Soulja boy sucks, but he is smart and is getting paid. Good for him. Do what works and make your money son.
Ice T cracks me up - I mean, like many of you already said, why is he even acknowledging Soulja boy anyway if he is crap? Besides, has anybody heard Ice T and "Dog in the Wax"? Look it up, that is a horrible song - but no one remembers it cuz' it came out along with his classic 6 in tha Mornin'... IMO, entertainers do what they got to do to keep that $ comin' in. Lindsey Lohan sucks as an actress, so she runs around town making herself relevant by making headlines and keeping gerself in the media - thus making those in Holloywood mindful of her and potentially sticking her in a movie role.

The language he uses doesn't hide the fact that he sounds proper. Believe me, I can tell proper. That's just me though.
