Re: Stephen Kings's The Mist
Great movie, and great adaptation of the novella.
It was always one of my favorite King stories, and Frank Darabount did a fantastic job with it.
King apparently said he preferred the movie's ending to his own.
I loved it, and thought the ending was one of the most powerful and surprising in recent memory.Comment

Re: Stephen Kings's The Mist
The ending was messed up but I still don't think it was gripping enough to make me feel terrible about it."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace
