Seinfeld" and Friends. I still watch re-runs with my wife and laugh all of the time. King of Queens is high up on my list too. Kevin James is just hilarious.

Growing up, I loved The Cosby Show, Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and Three's Company.

Old school!!-I concur except for The Odd Couple*, which I liked a little but didn't get too excited over it.

        * The Odd Couple trivia-It was canceled at the end of every season because of poor ratings but was renewed for the upcoming seasons of 2, 3, 4, and 5 because of high numbers for the summer reruns.

Interesting. When I was a kid and saw that show I found it amusing.

Hah, that's pretty interesting. Were you a fan of Gunsmoke? Apparently in the late 60s that show was close to being canceled but because the president of the network loved it so much it stayed on the air. The show was moved to Sunday (I think or was it Friday?) Anyways the ratings rebounded and it stayed on the air for another 8 years or so. According to an interview with James Arness he said the show could've lasted even LONGER except CBS decided to go in a different direction.

Lost and other shows are all good but would you really want to rewatch the shows again and again? That's the reason I said Seinfeld was the best, because I watch the Seinfeld eps all the time and they are still greatly funny and entertaining. Most other shows like Lost are fantastic when first viewed but have no long term replay value.

Yeah, the show suffered after expanding to one hour but ultimately thrived once again. I looked forward to Gunsmoke when I was a kid, as Marshall Matt was a larger then life figure back then. I still contend that episode #1 of Gunsmoke was the best of the series. Here's the classic John Wayne intro of the first episode.

My absolute favorite and choice for best ever ... Fresh Prince of Belair. Constantly quoting episodes with my friends to this day.

Old school choices ... the original Twilight Zones ... the writing was waaay ahead of it's time. And "how bout" This Week in Baseball people??

New school ... The Office, Chappelle Show, Entourage, 24, Friday Night Lights.

Scrubs is right there with Seinfeld as far as the rewatchability factor goes, and IMO Always Sunny far surpasses it.

The thing about Seinfeld is it was funny, but it was also easy to watch because there was very little plot continuity. Each episode could be a stand alone episode, as there were very few actual story archs (The Jerry Show and George's marriage are some that come to mind), and even then they weren't really all that important. Anyone could just watch an episode for the first time and get into it.

Edit: Entourage is a show I completely forgot about! One of my favorites. Also has a great rewatch factor IMO. Not as good as Sunny or Scrubs, but up there for sure.

While not my favorite tv show (The Wonder Years) i have to say i always enjoyed Family Matters and Sanford & Son.

Also thought Early Edition was underrated.

Probably The Real World, but it faced stiff competition from A Shot at Love with Tila Tequila.
