Oh no wonder they sang it together live at that show that I was talking about. Ok, yeah Buble is awesome no homo.

Blake Shelton is pretty good. I saw him last New Year's Eve in concert. He sings a lot of different stuff. He is part Hank Williams Jr. and part Tim McGraw. I like him, but don't really care for those 2. I know that doesn't make sense, but that's just me.

Also, if I like "Home" by Blake Shelton, can someone suggest other artists/songs/albums that are similar? THANKS

I just watched a live performance featuring David Foster.. and Blake Shelton was a guest who immediately caught my ear. That was a cool show.
          Try http://pandora.com/

Search Home and Blake Shelton Should be on the list somewhere. It plays songs similar to it

Yep. They are orginally from Idaho, up near Challis. They relocated to Austin years back (which I'm sure you know) Willy and Cody first, then Micky and Gary.

i know they have been brought up before in this thread...

but CCR is without a doubt the best band out there. I have seen them a half dozen time including once at the Wildhorse in Nashville...

If you have not seen them live...You have to.

Anybody listen to Ryan Bingham? Every time I hear his debut album it just gets better and better.

Also, a heads up a pretty good deal. Bloodshot Records is having their "end of the year" sale and has some great prices on CDs along with some free stuff on qualifying purchases. They're not a straight up country label, but they do have some country, country-rock, rockabilly, roots rock, etc.

I'm not sure how many Justin Townes Earle fans are here on OS, but he is putting out a new album in a couple months.

I'll admit that after seeing Taylor Swift on SNL I picked up her CD...I'm liking it, kinda Carrie Underwood-ish in that pop/country wave that's been coming the past 10ish years.
