The LG Dare.
Does anyone have this phone? I was going to get a Blackberry but I don't need all the bells and whistles. Not to mention the $30 email/web you need to get. Im really liking what I have read about this phone. I believe I could get email on it for just $5 per month. So if you have it what do you think?Tags: None -
Re: The LG Dare.
My friend actually just bought it the other day. It's a pretty sweet phone. Very small and portable.
Personally, though, I don't like the pure touch screen. I'm probably going to be buying myself the Voyager soon, so I get the touch screen and keyboard. -

You sound just like me pjv31. I was going to get the Blackberry Pearl, but when I found out I'd have to pay an extra $30 per month, I decided not to. I did some research and liked what I saw of the LG Dare so I ordered one. It will be at my house on Monday. I'll give some impressions later in that week.Comment

Re: The LG Dare.
The LG Dare arrived today. I've been messing around with it for the past 45 minutes to an hour. I really like what I've seen so far. It's thin, light and loaded with functionality. The camera is excellent and touch screen is very good (took a bit to get used to the scrolling functionality through menus).
Anyhow, if anyone has any questions, I'll try to answer them.Comment

- Have you used a iPod Touch or iPhone enough/at all to compare the size to it?Comment

Re: The LG Dare.
I've only seen an iPhone and the Dare is smaller/lighter. I think I'm the only person on the planed without an iPod.Comment

Re: The LG Dare.
Thanks! I think unless I see something that really turns me off, I'll probably be getting one of these later in the year. I just didn't want to be carrying around something else quite the same size as my iPod Touch, so its good to hear about the size. The sound quality is a plus as wellComment
