AT&T Tv & Fiber Internet?
Hey all, I am getting ready to move to Ohio next week and my buddy said I should check out AT&T TV. Well i'm on their website and I must say it all looks really impressive...their fiber internet and AT&T tv DVR looks great. I'm really impressed with the fact that the DVR records four programs at once. I'm just wondering if anyone here has the service and can give me the pros and cons of it vs. having DirecTV and/or Time Warner Road Runner?Streaming PC & PS5 games, join me most nights after 6:00pm ET on TwitchTV https://www.twitch.tv/shaunh20

Re: AT&T Tv & Fiber Internet?
I switched to it from Comcast, and love it so far. You can only tape one HD channel at a time though, which sucks. I think they are trying to improve that later with higher bandwidth, but it might be a big deal to you.
Has more HD than cable, but not more than Dish/DTV.
Internet speed (for me at least) rivaled my Comcast speed. It is supposed to be slower than cable though. -

I've had it for a year. I have the phone service as well. Any questions you want to know, just ask.Comment

Re: AT&T Tv & Fiber Internet?
Nice thread! I was actually wondering the same thing. Currently I'm on the Comcast triple play, with an extra digital box.
Kodiak, or anybody else that may have had Comcast in the past, what's the pricing difference? And with AT&T, how many boxes do they give you?Comment

Re: AT&T Tv & Fiber Internet?
The net is fast as hell, I can't even begin to explain the speeds I get, and the phone is pretty damn cool. I can check my voicemail anywhere I go from the web, and other cool stuff like that. I can also check, record and delete shows on my DVR on the web as well.Comment

Re: AT&T Tv & Fiber Internet?
I have 5 boxes, all HD. One is a HD-DVR that will record 4 shows at one time. I have a TON of channels, and made the switch initially because TWC didn't have NFL Network nor Big Ten Network.

Re: AT&T Tv & Fiber Internet?
Well with mine (HD, HBO, and U-200) I was paying around 125/month with comcast.
AT&T I am paying a little over 100, and I get more HD channels and regular channels I would watch.Comment

Re: AT&T Tv & Fiber Internet?
I live in CT and just switched from Comcast. I have the U-200 package and Pro Internet. I was expecting the internet to be much slower than Comcast but the only difference so far is downloading large file but they do have two higher speeds which would probably solve this problem. One thing I really like is that each receiver acts like a internet hub. I have my PS3 hard wired to my box in the living room and the Xbox 360 hard wired in my bedroom.
Channel wise, not much difference for me. Quality is a bit better and the guide/menus are much more responsive.
I still can't get the METS in HD though!!!!!!!!! Damn CT and the Yankees lovers
...forgot to mention that they have a very good sports package for $10. I don't have it but I think you can get many out of market MLB games as well as some college sports.Comment
