Fiasco Friday in about 10 hours. I should be asleep right now. I'll be taking pictures of the event. According to the guy organizing the protest, Atlantic sent a message saying "You got your release date. Why are you still protesting?" So I guess the protest did scare them. Apparently, there's gonna be a ton of press there as well. Should be quite the experience. I'll let you guys know how it goes.

Dosage opened up for B.O.B. and Lupe on the Steppin' Lasers Tour. Was pretty decent.

Finally back at my cousin's pad in Jersey. Fiasco Friday was pretty awesome. Only around 200 people showed up but that was enough to draw a huge crowd. Lupe chants. Lasers chants. Fiasco Friday chants. Rolling Stone and MTV came down to cover the protest too.

We had some suit from Atlantic come down with a boom box playing some new Lupe song (possibly the single that's releasing on the 26th) claiming "We love Lupe as much as you." and "We just wanna put out the best music possible."

At around 2:30, Lupe arrived and briefly spoke and after he was finished, the crowd flocked to wherever he went. People were trying to get him to sign stuff, some dude gave him his demo, it was just a mob.

Eventually Lupe made his way towards me. I shook his hand and told him I flew in from Los Angeles. He was like "L.A.?!" with this *daaamn* look on his face. Later on, as he was passing us when he was rolling out of Atlantic, he slowed down, stuck his head out of the car and yelled "L.A.!!!!!!!!!" then drove off. Definitely a top 3 moment of 2010 for me.

I'll try to have some pictures up by tomorrow night.

damn man that is just soo cool on soo many levels. This event to me was one of the for lack of a better word coolest events to happen this year for me and I wasn't even there. I'm glad someone could be there to participate.
