I definitely think that'll be a case of the album cover being a lot sicker than the album. That thing is awesome.

I never would've guessed Wiz Khalifa would have an album title like Rolling Papers.

I've read the "I don't think his album is gonna be good" thing a few different places, why do you say that? Just wondering.

You know what you're gonna get outta Wiz... maybe he's already run out of tracks relevant to his lane?

You basically answered the question yourself.

You pretty much know what you're going to get, which is the same songs about chronic and material things. Maybe a song about hooking up with Amber Rose, I don't know.

Don't get me wrong, I don't really care as long as the album sounds good like Black & Yellow, but it's not a situation where I'm expecting big things.

            Oh haha.

Well I'm not even really a fan of his, but I do really like a few of his tracks... namely ones produced by Lex Luger....

I almost feel embarrassed when I play his tracks loud in my car. Oh well

Why? Not like there isn't a bunch of people constantly blasting Black & Yellow all the time.

But yeah, I'm pretty much in the same boat. Not really a fan, but I really liked Black & Yellow and the Flight School mixtape.

Because he's not a good rapper. Whether you know you're gonna get ****ty music out of him or not, the fact is that he isn't good and his album won't be good.

Anyway, that cover has more creativity than any song he has put out.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

You may be right but even bad rappers put out good albums (see Gucci Mane)

Guys who've been listening to Wiz know what they're going to get or what he is capable of delivering and enjoyed/enjoy his music for what it is.

Then you have the new fanboys who jump on the newest "in" thing and rave about it, which tends to overrate the product.

And the domino effect carries to the guys who really dont know who the rapper is or even care about them expect this-so rapper to be a lyrical genius.

As far as people saying the album might be garbage is the result of the songs Wiz recently has put out (Post Kush & OJ; Post record deal) which has been watered down weed songs.

This song was pretty creative tho. (Deal or no Deal Album)

I thought Khalifa would be at least decent after he put out Prince of the City 2 but that wasn't the case because everything he put out has been trash(to me)since then but now he's awful compared to that when he was average at that and I expect similar results with his next BS album.

But Jmood basically described him perfectly in his post LOL.
