Re: Official Hip Hop/Rap Music Thread
That's good then.
It's good having some discussion in here, whether people agree with each other or not, as opposed to just strictly posting videos and nobody not talking about anything at all. That's when this thread gets boring IMO.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: Official Hip Hop/Rap Music Thread
Figured since we are approaching the half way point in the year. Now would be a good time to find out what everyone's favorite releases have been so far.
Killer Mike - R.A.P. Music
Curren$y - The Stoned Immaculate
Large Professor - Professor @ Large
Action Bronson - Blue Chips
Schoolboy Q - Habits & Contradictions
Those would be the 5 that have stood out to me.Comment

From what I can tell, you can only listen to them on your phone and not actually download them itself.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: Official Hip Hop/Rap Music Thread
I liked this post for the bolded. The radio up here is complete ****. Same 10 songs repeating and half of those show up about 3 times a piece in 2 hours at least. Kube 93.3 used to be alright at least, but now they only have one worthwhile time to listen to them and that's on the Sunday Night Sound Session. At least they had this lineup then this past week:It was even better when the East Coast 'was running' hip hop -- Hot 97 and Power 99 in Philly used to be the spots. Back home I listen to the radio (normally late night as day time is starting to get boring) when I'm ridin' -- if it wasn't for me travelling around the country I may have never bought an iPod -- other areas are just garbage :cough: Washington State :cough: lol
Compare that to the current last 10 songs played:- 50 Cent – “Complicated”
- Ab-Soul ft. Jay Rock & BJ The Chicago Kid – “Lust Demons”
- Meek Mill ft. Drake & Jeremih – “Amen”
- **INTERVIEW WITH PROPS!, PT. 1**
- PROPS! ft. Stalley – “Fresh & Fly” (Local Music)
- **INTERVIEW WITH PROPS!, PT. 2**
- Big K.R.I.T. ft. Devin The Dude – “Hydroplaning”
- Dom Kennedy – “My Type Of Party”
- Big Boi ft. Theophilus London & Tre Luce – “She Said OK”
- **INTERVIEW WITH MARCUS D, PT. 1**
- Marcus D ft. Cise Star, Substantial, Funky DL, & Mario Sweet – “Night On The Town” (Local Music)
- Slum Village ft. Phonte – “Special”
- Rashad – “I Wanna Love You”
- **INTERVIEW WITH MARCUS D, PT. 2**
- Kid Ink – “Time Of Your Life”
- Curren$y ft. Corner Boy P – “Sunroof”
- **INTERVIEW WITH THA BIZNESS, PT. 1**
- Henny & Parker – “Headband & Macallan” (Local Music)
- Lupe Fiasco – “Around My Way (Freedom Ain’t Free)”
- Big Daddy Kane – “Warm It Up Kane” (Throwback of the Week)
- **INTERVIEW WITH THA BIZNESS, PT. 2**
- Blu ft. Mela Machinko – “Kiss The Sky”
- **Jimi 84 – “Bad Man” (WORLD PREMIERE)**
- Killer Mike – “Don’t Die”
And any other station is pretty much the same up here with even more pop thrown in. Moral of the story: If you come up here for any reason, bring your iPod/MP3 player/Cell Phone with a music app or music saved on it, or you'll be pissed off within the hour of listening to the radio. I'm so happy to have a smartphone every time I get in my car.1. Lil' Wayne Ft/kanye West - Lollipop
2. Rihanna / Jay-z - Talk That Talk
3. Wiz Khalifa / Snoop Dogg / Bruno Mars - Young, Wild & Free
4. Trey Songz - Heart Attack
5. Waka Flocka Flame / Roscoe Dash / Wale - No Hands
6. Nicki Minaj - Starships
7. Rihanna / Chris Brown - Birthday Cake Remix
8. Big Sean / Chris Brown - My Last
9. Flo Rida / Sia - Wild Ones
10. Kanye West - HeartlessOriginally posted by BlueNGoldI feel weird for liking a post about exposed penises.Comment

That's why ya'll need to get that TuneIn Radio app.
That app has gotten me thru many a road trip and many a work day because it allows me to listen to literally any radio station in the world.#RespectTheCultureComment

Re: Official Hip Hop/Rap Music Thread
Man, two hip-hop stations here in DFW. Annoys me so much to 97.9, hear a song I don't care for(seems to be Usher - Climax right now), and then flip over to 104.5 to hear the same song just starting.Comment

Re: Official Hip Hop/Rap Music Thread
If I listen to any radio in Dallas, it's 105.7. The rap stations are horrible.PSN: xxplosive1984Originally posted by J. ColeFool me one time that's shame on you. Fool me twice can't put the blame on you. Fool me three times, **** the peace sign, load the chopper let it rain on you.
