What an awesome couple of weeks. First Lupe, now a Chris Webby mixtape (guilty pleasure) and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis album on the 9th that I've been waiting 2+ years for.

Just had this moment with J. Cole.

Before I get flamed lol I have listened to Cole before but he was meh before. Peeped that he had a new song on HNHH, and Idk what it was but today was like wow, this dude Cole is spitting real ish.

      This was this song:

I’d rather make tracks where I bleed into it,
The singles only the look to sell these niccas the book
I can only pray that one day you’ll read into it...
      - J. Cole

Also, love the moment at the end with Pac. Classic.

These where the first two songs that made me really start listening to Boosie.

It's crazy because I was one of the few that was bumping Ross hard, and by that I mean that was almost all I listened to while everyone was calling him the police. From Port of Miami to about Deeper then Rap (including every mixtape in between and a few after). But now I dont listen to Ross that much, while everyone is riding him hard.

To me he changed. I started to see a little of this in his Deeper then Rap album. He went mainstream and his music changed. He still makes good music but he just doesn't have that same grit to his music like the use to. He use to rap about the grind and what it takes to make it, now he talks about eating lobster everyday, and how many gucci skullys he has. Once again, he still makes good music, but it just the fact that he changed and lost that edge to his music.

Mind of a Maniac is one of Boosie's best tracks, that and Betrayed, hopefully he got 18 months and not 8 years.

Any of you get a chance to check out the new Skyzoo album? Half way thru and I'm impressed.

Here's a compilation I came across the other day while surfing another site. I think a lot of you will enjoy it.

I was disappointed with the first half but the last half is great.
