      Re: Bruno

Oh, my, this dude is a genius. Putting yourself out there and willing to take heat for your actions, that's comedy.

        Re: Bruno

Sasha was on Letterman last night but not in character. When he promoted Borat, he was in character for every appearance.

Too bad Howard Stern is on vacation because Sasha appeared as Borat for 40 minutes on the Stern show and was funny from to finish.

I'm going to see Bruno this weekend. I don't remember the last time a mainstream movie that was only 83 minutes or under.

Very disappointing. It starts off hysterical, but then everything is rushed. It's like 25% of the movie is missing.

Not a bad movie, but not what it could have been.

Ok, for anyone who saw the movie, please tell me the following quote is incorrect...

"One such scene shows Bruno in a hot tub with his adopted infant son and two naked men involved in a sex act."

If thats actually in the movie, there is no way I can watch this movie. Im all for over the top comedy, and found Borat to be rather hilarious minus the "wrestling" scene when there is way too much male nudity for my liking, but if the above quote is true and they are showing everything there is no way I can sit through this movie.

The baby's airbrushed/photo shopped into the picture, and in the context of showing that pic it's pretty funny. And if that scene in Borat bothered you than Chef this movie is not for you man.
I liked the movie I laughed my *** off through the whole thing.

Saw it tonight and thought it was pretty funny. By FAR the crudest movie I've ever seen in a theater. It makes Borat seem very tame. If that movie bothered you in any way than DO NOT see Bruno. About 10 people actually got up and left. America is so uptight.

                        America can't handle gays.

Such a shame that this country is so uptight.

I saw it yesterday afternoon. I thought it was pretty funny, I think Borat was slightly funnier. I wasnt really disappointed though I'd like to see the parts I heard were taken out that made it NC-17. Like someone said before seems like part of the movie is missing. Still a good movie if you're in to Sasha & his antics.

I thought it was hilarious, sooo crude and in your face, much moreso than Borat. I still thought Borat was funnier though.

The whole black baby/talk show scene was one of my favorites, and when he enlists in the Army is comedy at its best (for me).

I think the parts that might've made it NC17 were some of the sex scenes, they had the little black squares in front of the private parts that would've made it pornographic really (because there were several of those scenes).

"I think Donnie is gay, can I sleep in your tent tonight?"
"The bear ate all of my clothes except for these condoms."

                              I'd see it again.

Im not sure what your getting at but I was more wanting to know if this movie went so over the top that it actually showed things that should have made it NC-17 or not, without thinking about it obviously since they couldnt show much without it getting said rating. I dont want to spend the money and walk in to find out it shows more then it should, somehow got away with it and still got the rating it did and now Im out the money watching something Im not interested in watching anymore. Nothing more, nothing less.
