Yeah I don't see this lasting too long. I'll just say that the one area Whitlock is an "expert" on (and I use the term loosely) is magnified 10x more in his foxsports writing.

That has nothing to do with his work on foxsports.com, and everything to do with what I read each morning in the sports section.

Definitely agree. There have been more than a few "WTF?" moments after reading his columns in The Star. Every once in a while he'll write something worth while, but the majority time it is just mindless rambling.

He brings up good points sometimes, but mostly I think of him as just a loud mouthed guy who says things just to get a rise out of people. He won't hesitate to shout racism even when race isn't really a part of the issue at hand. People like that drive me nuts.

I think he is on point the large majority of the time and he is hard to relate to unless you have been immersed in his subject matter.

But one thing he has always been wrong about in all his articles is anything to do with Title IX. He gets it, more or less, but continues to bring it up like there is a work around. Just a waste of time.

Great point...I hate hearing him tear down Title IX, especially when he goes on a racial crusade at the same time, just seems amusing to me. He's a smart man, I just don't think he always has to bring race into the subject, sometimes he's right about something and race isn't an issue (College BBall players getting paid, for one...his latest article kept mentioning race unnecessarily, IMO)....
