Ziggy was way to prominent in what is generally considered to be The Wire's weakest season (#2).

Eh, if you rewatch the series, Season 2 is great. It throws you off the first time because it's such a departure, but once you get use to the Docks, Politics, and Schools, Season 2 is fine. I didn't like it at first, buy like it now.

I saw it straight through on DVD for the first time, and enjoyed it greatly, but I preferred the urban drug world and thugs of other seasons. Of course Season 2 had it/them too, but not as much.

There is no useless recurring character on Scrubs. I wasn't much a fan of Ryan Reynolds' one-off character, though.
