        Surprised no one here has talked about this show since '08...

        I just got into the series, and I flew threw the first 4 seasons in just a few weeks. What a show... IMO, it's getting better with every season, and I can't wait for season 5. Probably my favorite show on TV now.

                    On the broad topic of the show - I'm two episodes away from finishing season two. Great show and I've heard it keeps getting better.

                        It definitely keeps getting better. Seasons 3 and 4 feel like they're on a completely different level from the first 2.

                                    Oh yea, for sure.

                                    I love the ending sequence with the song playing while Roger and Joan go their separate ways. Especially that final shot with the two of them standing apart in front of the hotel.

                                    It was even better the second time I watched the episode, knowing the sad state of Midge's life in season 4.

                                                    In addition to AMC asking that Weiner cut two cast members for each season, the article doesn't mention that AMC wants to cut the running time to push more commercial spots and wants to include product placement within the series.
