Is this an NY thing only or what? Before I left NY dudes would be doing this EVERY damn day. They would literally wake me up with the clapping (note, it was about 12 noon, but still). I heard it's mostly in the Bronx, but I've also heard that dudes from the Bmore area do it too.

Does anybody on OS get lite? (lol)

We used to something not similiar to that but a little bit called "Beat Ya Feet" but that mess retired like back in 03 and haven't seen one attempted since then lol

I guess every city has their own variation. I know there's a little friendly "beef" between Chicago and Detroit as to who started it first lol. I think in Chicago they call it jukin'.

And even the South has there own version, of course, we slow everything down, down here. They call it jookin or buckin in Memphis area.
