Season Finale? That's insane.

The season finale was insane. Unfortunately not too funny. (IMO)

A food fight?? Wow............. Charlie preparing Squash and Beef, Dee wiping a slate clean. A solidly bad episode (IMO). I was hoping for "The Nightman Cometh" season finale quality....not even close.

This season was a mixed bag, but I particularly enjoyed:

(1) Mac Day, (2) Flowers For Charlie, (3) The Gang Makes Lethal Weapon 6, (4) Mac & Dennis Buy A Timeshare

There were a few funny moments, but overall it was a pretty weak episode. Especially for a season finale. I feel like they could have created a much better story line.

The ratings for this season were awful. Obviously the move to FXX had a lot to do with it. Still there were no real memorable episodes this season IMO.

Overall I felt the season was weak but I did think some of the episodes were memorable.

Mac Day, The Gang Makes Lethal Weapon 6, and Flowers for Charlie. Those episodes all were amazing IMO.

Considering they're in their 9th season, I thought this was one of the better years for the show.

Wow. I loved the gang saves the day. I'm surprised... If you watched it for all these years and know the character deeply... It was quite entertaining showing how delusional each of them are

I still love this show and there were a few good eps this year but wow, it's really crashed. The League is killing it and this show is, unfortunately, a mere shadow of itself...the episodes now are just too out there, trying too hard and getting way too bizarre.

The Lethal Weapon episode and the convenience store episode were the two best ones this season for me and are both probably top ten segments in the series. Absolutely enjoyed the hell out of both of those. The Mac Day one would be a distant third, then about six of them were pretty average and the episode about Dee was terrible. So this season it was: two amazing episodes, one really good episode, six average episodes and one really bad episode.

Liked the premise of the season finale, but thought they brought back to many characters no one cared about. The male Ponderosa, the landlord, and the guy who's car they blew up and the snail? After all these years these are the people they choose to "squash beef" with? I think the idea could've been better, with a better (more interesting) supporting cast, or just have them squash their internal beefs. IDK, it wasn't great but I still got a few laughs out of it.

For a show that only has 10 episodes instead of 22+ like a network sitcom, there's no real excuse for not having every episode be amazing.

No episodes in this season were memorable for me. I literally barely remember some of them. Just a lot of emptiness.

I thought The League was way worse than Sunny this year. I thought Sunny was on decline the past few seasons, but this year was my favorite of the past 3 or 4. The Gang Saves the Day is probably among my top 10 favorite episodes. The finale was pretty week though.

South Park also has short seasons and sort of follows the same structure. About 1 or 2 great episodes for a season, 5 or 6 good/average ones, and 1 or 2 stinkers.

The shows been on for 9 years, its going to be tough for every episode to be memorable. Even in the shows peak there were still 2 or 3 bad episodes per season.

That's kind of a high bar just because they're doing half the episodes.

Why? Curb Your Enthusiasm can do it. They make 10 episodes and every episode is beyond perfection.

If there's less quantity, I expect more quality. The episodes are at a premium. If your season is 10 episodes and one episode is completely worthless, that's 10% of your season gone, poof, sayonara. And for what?
