Well, Season 1 only had 7 episodes and 2 of them are A+.

    (1) The Gang Gets Racist-the one where Paddy's becomes a gay bar. Dennis get all of Dee's tips and loves the attention he's getting from the gay guys.

    (7) Charlie Gets Molested-a top 5 all time episode. (IMO)

I'm a big fan of the season 1 episode about underage drinking. With the two high school kids using Dennis and Dee to make each other jealous.

      Awesome episode.

I do, however, think the show really started hitting on all cylinders the second Danny DeVito arrived.

I'm used to him but I still think the show would be much better without him.

I agree 100%. The "skinny jeans" episode is one of my favorite.

I personally think it's at it's best when Cricket has a minor role.

Has to be the best plot line for a minor charecter of all time.

Favorite episode to this day is The Gang Finds a Dead Guy. That was the episode that got me to watch in the first place, but I still go back to it anytime I meet someone who hasn't seen it.

The episode that got me to watch was The Gang Finds a Dumpster Baby.

FX kept advertising the hell out of it, and this exchange made me laugh every time I heard it in the commercial. Hysterically.

"You want to put your baby in a tanning bed?"
                          "Just to get a base."
                          "Just to get a baaaase."

Mac's delivery on that last line can't really be typed out well, but it's gold.

Charlies incoherent speech he wanted Dennis to read out, that one always gets to me

"Hello fellow American. This you should vote me. I leave power. Good. Thank you. Thank you. If you vote me, I'm hot." What? "Taxes they'll be lower son. The Democratic vote for me is right thing to do Philadelphia. So do." This doesn't make any sense!

Charlie's illiteracy is probably my favorite recurring thing on that show.

Dee Reynolds: [about the dance 'contest']
Dee Reynolds: Place, Paddy's Pub. Time, Saturday. Date, with Charlie Kelly. Prize... PADDY'S PUB?
Dennis Reynolds: Whoa, dude, you put the bar up as a prize?
Charlie Kelly: No, I listed it in the 'Pride' section, the place where you list what you take pride in.
                              Dee Reynolds: That's a 'Z', Charlie!
Frank Reynolds: Didn't you read that ******* thing?
                              Charlie Kelly: I gave it a once-over!
Mac: Oh, that's it! Your illiteracy has screwed us again!

The best part about that is Dennis adlibbed that part of the scene you can see Charlie start to laugh at it. Same thing with Charlie and his ROCK FLAG AND EAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGLLE
