    iPod and MP3 Help

Basically, my iPod is dead. The jacks where you put your headphones in are bust. That means I need a radio adapter from the socket at the bottom to make things work. However, this makes the lead for tor the headphones really long, and inevitably, it got caught and now the radio adapter is kind of damaged. I've had like 3-4 iPod's. Apart from 1, which I broke, the rest have just been technical problems. Problems that were not caused by me. This has really pissed me off.

Since my iPod is on it's last legs, I was wondering, what would be a better replacment for around the same, if not cheaper price? My friend has a Zune and he's kind of clumsy so he's dropped it several times from a certain height, as well as many more.

Also, how easy is it to transfer the songs from different music libraries?

    Thanks alot.
