What a great epi last night. I have hopes after the promo says that next week is a season finale, so hopefully no cancellation.

Great, great episode, maybe the best of the series for me. I can't believe that there may only be one episode left before the show is gone forever.

Do the same thing tomorrow. And the next. Now do it forever.

From some link I found, I saw that there might be a chance for the SCC. When Fox starts doing their assessment in mid-May, they'll look and see which shows stay and which shows get cut. There may be a chance for the show on SyFy also. HOPEFULLY we get another season. We won't know until May from what I read. We'll see though. I still think it's dumb that they would put that sucker on a slot against other things on a freaking Friday. Of all the days that just don't make sense, a FRIDAY. Why didn't they just leave it the way it was? Fox is really making me wonder.......

My thing is Fox is the blame for the low ratings, they moved it to Friday. Now on Friday everyone is out doing things, at the movies, malls, stores etc. Doing their weekend activities after work and things like that.

When the show was on Mondays it was doing just fine, and doing well enough for to compete with Heroes and other shows. The ratings were fine when the show was on Monday's they decided to move the show after it's premiere episode. But when it was on that day it did better or should I say good enough to even make a 2nd season.

So if they want to make ratings an issue, they need to blame themselves for moving it to a weekend date.

What I'm trying to figure out is what is the mindset behind all of these channels competing against each other. Why don't they "make" their own viewing time for their shows? Wasn't Heroes flopping slowly but surely? It makes so much sense to just keep it on Mondays. Some of these executives and people that make those decisions just don't deserve to keep their jobs. Ruining our viewing pleasure.......

I thought the way Derek went out was pretty weak. It should've been more like Charlie's, where he died protecting John. It was a good episode, but it definitely feels like they're trying to wrap up the show in anticipation of being cancelled.
And does this mean we'll never get to learn what exactly happened to Derek in that house in the future where he was being held by the rubber-skinned Terminators and that soft music was playing (from a Season 1 episode)?

yeah, it was weak. It made it hard for me to enjoy this past episode.

I like it because it gave you the whole anybody can go anytime feel. Also when Terminator Salvation, it will be a huge success where people will be like Wow, and people will want to flock to the TV show which will receive a bump from the movie and be brought back. Doesn't matter if Fox cancels anyway, another Network will pick it up so quick we wont miss anything.

I agree, I don't see why folks hate it when things happen like this instead of in the old, familiar cliched way they typically happen in tv shows and movies. So he had to die valiantly jumping in front of a bullet for John Connor? Uhhh that would have been so unoriginal and as rockchislr said, it most certainly wouldn't have contributed to a very chaotic and anything-goes feel that will keep the show fresh and entertaining.

It was cool the way Derek went out. N ot everyone has to go out guns a blazing. That happens in shootouts like that. That was straight out of departed. lol

Last weeks episode was the best one yet.

Mixed emotions over the season (series?) finale. It pushed things along, and the performances were all very good, but not many loose ends were tied up. As for the ending...

                          Spoiler

If this is the end it was a fun, but brief, series. I was most impressed with how well the show handled drama and kept it interesting. I think most expected this series to be an action heavy series but it was mostly 50-50. I'll be disappointed if it can't continue but at least the show never grew stale. Looking forward to the film this summer. I know it isn't supposed to tie in at all with the show but it would be cool if a little easter egg were slipped in or something to at least acknowledge the show.

There's no way this series should end the way it just did. There's way too many things left to answer.

That was the best series/season finale i have ever seen, that was all kinds of awesome/epic win all in 1. Such a shame it may not make it to season 3. Damn, that was just good tv.

From the way that ended, there won't be a season 3. Wow! Who knew it would end like that! Great everything but left so many questions....

Wow if this is the last episode, the Fox has really dropped the ball on something that could be so damn great. Some of the best acting in a series that I've seen in a long time. Everyone is so damn believable in their characters and it was just getting good.

Amazing finish to a killed series. I read on yahoo.com that this is number 3 of the top 10 shows that will be canceled after this season.
