Multi-protocol Instant Messengers: Anybody use one?

Well I've spent the last couple days looking at different multiprotocol instant messengers such as Trillian, Pidgin, Miranda IM, etc. I have, for as long as I've had a computer, used each individual instant messaging client and I eventually got tired of them. Basically all I really use now is aim because it's a hassle to have aim, yahoo, and msn all open.

Then I got the bright idea again of using something that combines them all. So I dl'd Trillian yesterday, ran it for a little while but wasn't 100% satisfied, especially how it grouped all of my buddy lists together. So right now I'm trying out Pidgin. It's open source and has a good bit of plug ins available. It just looks really basic to me. I dunno if I'm sold.

Anyway, does anybody else use anything in particular or have any preference?

I use Trillian, despite only needing AIM.

I use Pidgin on one computer and Kopete on another. Kopete is exclusive to KDE, an open source desktop environment used with some Linux distributions.

I don't chat much online but my wife does a lot. She uses Trillian and it seems to work well. I wish the free version of it support Google Talk then I might use it.

I use Trillian for AIM, Yahoo, and MSN and love it.

Pidgin here - like it, but sometimes I will be logged out of a messenger account for some reason. I really don't know what others are out there that have GoogleTalk included.

I use Trillian, and I love it, can't wait for Astra. Lately though I've been trying out Digsby, it's not bad but I am used to Trillian's look.

I was using Adium at work (on Mac), but it wasn't dealing with our Jabber server right so I moved to Spark. I don't like that as much, but it works for Jabber (and that's all I'm logged into at work). I know they both can handle more though, and I liked how Adium dealt with everything.

I'm not logged in much at home, but I've got Pidgin. I don't chat online a lot nowadays.

Well I'm using Pidgin still but I think I'll switch to Astra when it comes out. Does anyone know when the official release for Astra is? I think there's an alpha build available but apparently it's been around for a while.
