Suggest a Download Manager
I had been using an earlier version of Download Accelerator Plus, but after a time something when weird. I tried to install a different version, but it hangs. I'm getting tired of DAP, plus I'm assuming there's a mild level of adware there. Any other suggestions??Tags: None -
Re: Suggest a Download Manager
I use FlashGet for the most part. There's an extension for Firefox called FlashGot which lets you choose whether you want to save a file with FlashGet when you click a link. It doesn't do well on some sites like Rapidshare though. I wasn't ever able to have like 7 RS links in it and have it routinely dl each one. It would maybe dl one or two and then all the next would dl as like 5 kb files.
I also have DownThemAll which is a Firefox extension too.
But I'd recommend FlashGet regardless.

Well you can't just put in MU links into it. It can only take direct links. What you can do is go to the megaupload site and wait for the timer to count down, then when it says "Free Download" you can just right click and pick "Flashgot link." You can also just paste direct links into them.[NYK|DAL|VT]
