I am absolutely pumped for the new season. Just got finished rewatching Season 3 this afternoon.

I looked down for a second, when Michael said "Sara", what did he see or what happened?

Basically Gretchen told him that she never killed Sara. She escaped and they faked the murder in order to keep Michael and Lincoln in line.
