Wow, 17 minutes in and already two big characters from the first season are dead, I really like how the season is starting off so far and cant wait for the rest of tonights episode.

Gretchen isn't dead... if that's who you were referring as the second dead character. She was seen in the last 10 minutes or so imprisoned by one of the general's goons.

Or unless I have really, really bad memory to forget something I just watched, oh, 3 hours ago.. I can't recall anyone that died of note except Whistler.

Yeah, I jumped the gun a bit since the episode wasnt over and the way they left it led me to believe that she was dead at that time, clearly that wasnt the case but that wasnt shown until later which was after I had posted. I think this season is gearing up to be a really good one, I would have liked to have seen a tiny bit more of Sona and it burning down since it was the centeral location of last season but other then that Im pumped for this season and the new direction its headed.

It was so good to see Prison Break again last night. I was with my roommates and some friends so I didn't get to enjoy the show as much as I would alone, but it was still awesome. I am going to go back and rewatch both episodes this afternoon on the internet, and get a closer look at it.

From my first viewing, I wasn't a big fan of the way everything came together. What are the chances that all the main characters are caught/arrested in such a close time proximity. I also hated how we didn't get to see Sona burn down, or how Sucre/Bellick/T-Bag escaped. Other than those minor gripes, good stuff!

I'm sure that us not seeing Sona was a budget constraint. It sucks, but I understand their reasoning. I don't think the crew is anywhere near that prison, and flying over there to shoot a burn scene would have been costly. Also, they could not possibly burn down the set, since it's a real prison. Their only other option is to build it, and that's just another large cost. Maybe if Prison Break was pulling in 10 million viewers they could get FOX to back it.

Also, what I have learned, and should have been realized, is that no one is ever dead until you see a bullet go through their head. This holds true for Sarah and now holds tue for Gretchen.

It makes me wonder if Mahone's family is really dead since we never actually saw it happen. I'm going to assume they are not and instead they wanted Mahone to think they were so he could act stupidly.

I just keep hearing the words, "You do not want to go in there," by the cop. How many people does the company have working for it? It just seems too easy.

Here's my guarantee that sometime this season or the next, Mahone's family will be used as leverage that will determine Mahone's commitment to his family or the group.

I agree Yankee..> I was thinking the same thing about Mahones family . I love this show. It's absolutely brilliant. Love the suspense factor, always keeping you wondering. I'll set my DVR for next week, since I'll be gone.

I am still loving the show. Although it is getting old knowing they are going to get things done at the very last second. It is still cool to see how they are actually going to pull it off though.

This season has been pretty good so far. It's no season 1 (no season of any show wil ever top that), but I think it's quite good. I'm really liking the Mahone/Michael/Lincoln relationship, I'm glad they all respect each other.

I'm excited to see how the remainder of the season turns out (if there is a remainder, rumor is PB could be cancelled mid-season), especially with the T-Bag/Gretchen storyline.

Fox Execs. are looking to cancel Sarah Connor Chronicles and possibly move Prison Break to a new timeslot/day, due to poor ratings for both shows.

They've also said they don't want to lose Prison Break, but the ratings continue to drop (only at around 5.8 right now, when they were around 7 last year...and last year there were talks of not bringing it back for a Season 4), and if they dont go up or at least stabalize (they've dropped every episode this season), they might be forced to cancel.

I doubt they cancel it mid-season, but I'm sure this means this is the final season; unless people stop being gay and actually tune into Prison Break from here on out.

Either way, I will be severely disappointed if Season 4 is cancelled mid-season, or wrapped up as the last season. This show is by far and away the greatest series to ever air on television, in my opinion.

Edit: Wow, Prison Break is doing worse than I thought. In '07, Prison Break averaged a rating of 9.8million viewers, in '08 that number dropped to 7.5million viewers. Last night's episode had 5.3million.
