I feel ya man. Just watched the replay of Juice and the Illini beating Ohio St last season in HD. Nice. I am looking forward to basketball season as well.

If you live in Chicagoland, and only really care about watching the Illini, is there any reason to get the Big Ten Network?

Well, yeah, if you want to see the illini play, especially during basketball season.

Well, the Illini are always on local programing.

Anyway, it might be a moot point. I noticed I already have the Big Ten channel last night (both reg def and hi def), does anyone know if this is a trial period for Comcast or is it part of the regular package?

It's going to start of as a trial period, then It will move to the sports tier package.

Well, the Illini are always on local programing.

That's pretty good! A bunch of MSU games (hoops and football) were exclusive to BTN... anyone who had comcast (except for people on campus, in which a special deal was made to have the channel) was SOL last year. Luckily I have WOW! over here, but no HD.

Hey, for anyone who has it already, how's the HD programming on BTN? Does it include the regular shows (like BT Tonight)?
