AVG Problem

I can't seem to update my AVG. It keeps telling me .bin file is missing. I've also tried uninstalling it and installing it again but I keep getting the same message.

Does anyone else have this problem or is it just my laptop?

Same thing happened to me earlier tonight. Apparently the last update from AVG was corrupted or something. There will be a fix soon as far as I can tell.

However I already made the switch to Avast and it runs a lot smoother on my PC so i'm going to stick with that.

I haven't heard of Avast before. Is it better than AVG?

Did you reboot? That's what I did and the problem went away.

I also switched to Avast recently. Haven't had any problems.

I use avast on my windows pc too.

I was having the same issue yesterday. Read online that there was a problem with the last update and AVG was aware of it. They must have fixed it because I just updated now and it seemed to work.
