    Separate sub-forums needed?

    I'm wondering who shares the same opinion that maybe it's time for the "Entertainment & Technology" sub-forum to be split and each have their own?

      There is not much technology talk for it to need a separate forum. I think it is fine the way it is.

      If, however, you go that route then you need to break down entertainment. Make Entertainment a master forum within OS and then have Music, Movies, Technology, etc. as sub-forums.

          Well, you could say that about any sub-forum (Madden defensive back forum, WWE midget wrestling forum, NBA dunking forum, etc.). A technology forum would incorporate anything from techie questions to discussions about any audio/video gizmos, etc. I think there's been plenty of discussion about those things. Entertainment would just field the rest (movies, music, TV, etc.). I don't think it's that much of a stretch.

              I agree with YP.

              If you're going to break it down...breaking it to Entertainment and then Technology wouldn't do much.

              Breaking it down to music, movies, television, etc. would work a lot better.

                  I don't think it needs to be done. It's fine the way it is. If you break it down, it won't seem there is as much activity on the boards.

                      The logistics of moderating subforums like that would be a nightmare. The guys that moderate the forums have a tough enough job as it is.

                      Plus, I don't think we need to break it down any further.

                          Oh, and for the record...I don't think it should be separated, but if it did it shouldn't be into "Entertainment" and "Technology"
