I don't know if this has been said already in this thread, but if there were thoughts of making a 4 and 5, why didn't they just split Spider-Man 3 up into more than one movie?

I pray to the comic gods that she doesn't return. She is an embarrassment to MJ... they just need to get a good looking busty girl.

I'm hoping MJ also isn't a large character in this movie. Last three movies have been about MJ and pretty much rescuing MJ. Seriously, enough.

Yeah - I absolutely hate Dunst as MJ. She was a pathetic casting decision.

This is probably the only situation where I wish they completely destroyed the history and kill MJ within the first minute of the 4th movie.

My hope for this movie was new director, new cast, and new story arc. Looks like all three of my hopes failed big time.

I'd take Eddie Brock over MJ in this case. At least Topher, while his appearance was completely wrong, wasn't a complete waste when he was on the screen. He was actually decent at the jealous Eddie Brock role, he was just a very scrawny version of him.

Dunst as MJ...is terrible appearance wise and acting wise.

I liked Topher as Brock, personally. I just wish they had included Brock in the first and second movies to develop Brock and Parker's competition/Brock's jealousy more.

Of course, Topher six years ago definitely would not have worked as an Eddie Brock, let alone him now barely being able to work.

Ah, true. That would have been great to see Gwen Stacy, Eddie Brock, and even Dr. Connors in the first Spider-Man. Of course, that would mean less everything else in that first one, which is actually fine.

They should use Dr. Connors as The Lizard.

That actually would've been a PHENOMENAL choice. It seemed to be the perfect evolution of the character since he made cameos roles previously.

Imagine... Sandman and Lizard... and ending it with Spidey getting rid of the suit and finally the Venom turn.

Hell, even with that hokey emo garbage in the movie that actually would have made the movie enjoyable. Plus, we'd have Venom to deal with in #4. It would have revitalized the series since the first 3 were seen as a trilogy of sorts.
