I said Les is good. He's just not great. And most do think my musical preferance is odd so I'm cool with that.

See, that's what blows my mind. I think both Les and Flea are great bass players but I give the nod to Les. You, on the other hand, don't even think Les is great? Can't he still be great even though you don't think he's as good as your Flea?

He's right on the edge between good and great. He just isn't in the great category to me IMO. Don't get me wrong he's really good. Just not great. I like his style. Not as percussive as Flea's.

Dude, I'm so glad someone else mentioned P-nut!

I got to see 311 up in Omaha this summer. It was pretty sweet because Snoop Dogg performed too. Anytime you can get Snoop and 311 in the same concert it's going to be pretty tight.

            Props to Victor Wooten too!

The lack of John Paul Jones of Led Zeppelin makes me sad. And I'm surprised Geddy Lee hasn't been mentioned more.

Yes I have. You know after listening to both of them more their really similar. I just prefer Flea over Les.

I haven't seen any bad ones listed so far.
                    Totally agree.

When you're in a band with one of the greatest front men, drummers, and guitarists of all time one tends to get overlooked. It is very sad though.
