Like EG said I'll be surprised if it lasts more than a year. Already going too many ways with the storyline with all of these characters.

This didn't even record for me last night due to the Cubs going to extra innings and then the news came on. Are they going to replay this?
edit: looks like Thursday at 7pm.Comment

Re: 90210
I can't lie, I'm a fan of 90210. I watched it growing up and I catch replays on SOAP. I saw a commercial for the new one and it looked like butt. It's kinda like Saved by the Bell: The College Years, you just can't beat the original so don't try.Comment

As ridiculous as it is to even start debating this, haha, I feel I must correct you.
The college years at least used the same (mostly) cast and continued following their lives as they moved on.
I would actually compare this more to Saved By the Bell: The New Class... which was AWFUL.
Same premise really though... the next wave of students, all stereotypically drawn out. Bad acting, bad writing, completely pathetic.
I'm done now... Just the fact that I knew enough to even make this argument makes me question myself... I need to go do something manly like drink beer and make out with chics.

You're absolutely right. I was thinking New Class but typed College Years. Although the College Years were pretty crappy too. There's just no replacing the original cast (Except for Andrea she sucked). As ridiculous as it is to even start debating this, haha, I feel I must correct you.

Re: 90210
I have the first 2 episodes recorded but haven't watched them yet. I got sucked into watching the original by my girlfriend (now wife) about 15 years ago and ended up getting hooked. I still watch the show in syndication from time to time. So is the new one worth my time as a fan of the original, or will I be disappointed?Last edited by crques; 09-10-2008, 01:38 PM.Comment

Re: 90210
Anybody watch last night? My friend told me there was gonna be a big fight between Kelly and Brenda. I tune in for that and Brenda didn't even raise her voice. Lame

Re: 90210
Yeah, the "fight" was pretty lame. If they want to get Kelly in some serious catfights, they should bring back Vallerie (played by Tiffani Amber-Thiessen).
My wife was laughing about Kelly's outfit last night because her shirt was showing off her cleavage in a way that would never happen in a real school.Comment
