    RIP Jerry Reed

Country singer was 71. More famous for his role as Cletus "Snowman" Snow, the truck driver, from the "Smokey and the Bandit" movies..

Damn, music, movie and TV awards are going to have to devote a half hour to dead celebs this year it seems

That being said, RIP. I liked his work in the Smokey and the Bandit movies. He was a pretty good sidekick to Burt Reynolds.

I saw this story this evening on our local news here in Nashville. Reed was great.
