I know a couple of people with the phone

Its inexpensive and its really nice... If I were you I'd get it if i could. I'd have it now except i have a blackberry from my job so there is no use for two phones.

Here's a video review of the HD. If they can release this phone with the Android OS, this would be an even better phone.

I would stay away from Windows Mobile, freezes up when you need it to work

I've been eyeing this, it comes out 4th quarter in Europe, a little after that here. Hopefully Sprint will pick it up. I wonder if it will be upgradeable to Windows Mobile 7.

                  Re: HTC Touch HD

I have the HTC Mogul, and I have no complaints at all. My phone has never "frozen up" so I can't say anything bad atm about the Windows Mobile OS. I've had my phone for 14 months now, and I've dropped it numerous times and it just keeps doing what I need it to do.

If I were you, I'd check out CNET and their ratings/reviews. So far the items I've purchased after watching/reading their reviews have been as advertised...so no complaints about them either.

Either way, good luck w/ your new phone purchase...
