Fios modem question...

Alright, just got a Blackberry Curve, and getting a laptop in a couple of weeks, and I'm having trouble connecting Wi-Fi with my connection. It shows up, but has a password, which I expected.

Now the question, how do I go about finding what my password is? I didn't set up any of this, it was set up by the Verizon people. Do I have to call them, or is there a way to check that?

Any help would be appreciated.

Try your phone number as the password. When they installed mine, they said "use your phone # as the initial password, and then you can change it when I'm gone".

They set it up and didn't tell you your password??

They're supposed to tell you your password.

Open up a web browser on a PC that is already connected and go to 192.168.1.1. User name and password should be default, which is admin and password.

Then look for the wireless password. I can't recall where it is off the top of my head.

Thanks guys, I got it. I asked my friend who also has Fios, goes wireless on his 360. For Verizon, its the WEP key, which is on the router, got it to work that way.
