Rise Against - Appeal to Reason

Anyone pick up the Rise Against CD? I got it but I haven't had the time to listen to much of it yet, but of what I've heard, it sounds pretty good.

I've heard a few songs from it, but I haven't been able to find the full album anywhere.

Rise Against is usually always good though.

I got it the other day, listened to it one time through in my truck on my way to class and its solid. I think Suffer and the Witness is better but the album has some strong points, when I get a chance to listen to it again i'll comeback to this, but I like it, not the greatest but i'm adding in to my CD rotation.

This CD is freaking gold. I think it's a little more mainstream sounding then previous Rise Against albums, which I guess some people would cry and complain about, but I really like it. Nothing is going to sound like "Revolutions Per Minute" or "Siren Song of the Counter Culture", but some of these tracks are just addictive.

        My favorites are:
        1. From Heads Unworthy
        2. Savior
        3. The Dirt Whispered
        4. Whereabouts Unknown
        5. Re-Education (Through Labor)

All the other stuff is good, but these tracks stand out to me. Rise Against is my favorite band and they didn't disappoint me one bit. As expected. They have some real good riffs this time around.

I've listened through it a few times now. I don't think its gonna have a really long lasting appeal to me, but I'll listen to it regularly for a couple months

listened to it driving home yesterday, not very impressed. Sufferer & Witness, Siren Song, and Rev per minute all better.

I bet they gained a ton of exposure because of that video. A friend had sent me "Swing Life Away" and I liked it but hadn't checked out what Rise Against was really about until I saw that video. It's been love ever since.

It's still my favorite song too. Both versions of it.
