After weeks of dealing with my insurance company over some bills, I finally am receiving a reimbursment check. On Wed. of this week (10/8) they called and asked if I wanted a check mailed or by dir. deposit. I chose DD and gave them my bank info, the lady said it will be in in a day or 2. As of Saturday a.m. it still wasn't. Because of the 3 day weekend, does that mean it won't be in until at least next Tuesday? Or can DD go thru on weekends while banks are closed. I was hoping to get a couple of games and enjoy 'em for the long weekend. Thanks, just curious.

I'm thinking Tuesday, that's my experience with deposits made before the weekend, I'm not sure if there is a difference with direct deposits. Write a check it probably won't clear till Tueday anyhow, problem solved. -

Check your account online, usually it will have a posted and an available balance. You can tell if it is there, but just wasn't posted yet. My DD usually will show up a day or 2 before it actually posts.Comment

I know Im late but banks do run their batches on Saturday night so it could post tonight still, at midnight however. Just go buy the games and either write a check or run your debit card as credit and that will take a few days to process anyways, just dont run it as debit as that comes out immeaditely.Comment
