I really don't think they are trying to save lives. They are just tired of a historic landmark being used as a suicide tool.

I think this is the bigger issue. People are gonna still kill themselves but now they won't use this method.

It doesn't have anything to do with sympathy, guys. It's just the mere fact that immediately after you jump, you regret it. Sorry, at that point, there's no room for feelings. You did what you did and it's done.
