Phonescoop is an amazing site for mobile phones. Here, in this video review, you can see the phone gets stuck in landscape mode. They had to cut the video to get out of it. You can also see how slow it loads pictures, which makes you wonder if Apple chose correctly in loading smaller sized versions of your pictures. Lastly, you also see the phone not respond while he presses Contacts button after typing in a phone number. Not sure what's up, but it gives credence to the buggy software claims by most.

The good news is that this can get fixed with updates, since it's only software issues. The bad news is no one knows how committed RIM is to providing these updates. I know I was skeptical of Apple when they released the iPhone but they proved me wrong. I believe the phone has had at least 10 updates in less than 2 years.

I love the camera settings, something the iPhone needs dearly... Pretty much the general consensus is the Bold is still the best Blackberry available, especially if you've used their devices for a while.

I played with the Storm today when I went in to pay my bill. And albeit it was only for a couple minutes, I really disliked that "click" feature of the touch screen.

I guess it's something I could get used to, but IMO, if I am buying a touchscreen, that's what I want. Not a touchscreen phone that I have to depress for it to actual function.

It also felt like the clicking feature was leading to me to mess up when I went to type web addresses and text messages. Again that could be because I barely had any time with it, and it's a function that probably takes some time to get used to.

But at this point, I think I'll pass. I have the LG Dare right now, I guess I'll stick with it.

Any word on when/if the Blackberry Bold will be coming to Verizon? I've read alot about it and think if that were to be on Verizon's roster of phones right now, I'd buy it in a heartbeat.

Has there been any updates to fix these issues? Im looking to upgrade my phone but I don't need a blackberry nor have I ever had one before. I just like the cool features it has. Is it worth getting in your opnion?
