I liked the episode.

Took a while to get going, IMO, but I know the viewers needed to be refreshed a little.

Very Interesting ending, set it up for some excitement for the season.

Born and raised in Rhode Island this show hits home on so many levels. The only thing thats off is "the hill" is run by italians not the irish.

I watched season 1 then got rid of Showtime. Now that I have Showtime again i've been catching up with Cox On Demand.

Just watched the first 2 episodes and this season is off to a great start. There is so much going on, the hour just flies by. I think this will be the best season yet.

Looking good, but the family stuff with Rose and Eileen slows it down a touch. On the plus side the political aspect of the show is much better. Did it look like Moe was weeping up when Michael slapped him? What a b1tch.

PS:Still hard to imagine Rose was once the very sexy older woman Clothilde to Nick Nolte's teenager in Rich Man, Poor Man. They were actually the same age, and Fionnula Flanagan (Rose) won an Emmy for her performance.

The last two episodes were the highlight of the season. The whole Colin-Mike's girl thing got old. Pretty heavy duty graphic violence even for this day and age. Set up well for next season.

I remember hearing it was the series finale, but not sure.

For me last of the HBO/SHO dramas that I am really into, since Sopranos and The Wire are gone.

good finale to a good series. I doubt we will see any more of this show (hope im wrong). If it is finished, they ended it well imo.

It was inevitable that Tommy was going to become corrupt by the end. It's difficult to get to that level in politics without being so. He has now become as bad as Michael, only he uses a pen and a gavel instead of a gun...Declan isnt any better though.

the scene where Freddie Cork executes Kirkpatrick was one of the most disturbing scenes ive seen. That was cold blooded.

Yeah, the execution scene was disturbing to say the least.
Yes, this would actually be a good finale to the show, but it could also set up a season 4. I'm somewhat hopeful because they did not announce it as a "series finale".
